“I choose to fundraise for Abortion Support Network because it’s a charity I am incredibly passionate about and I know exactly where the funds raised are going.
I’ve organised two bake sales, a fundraising birthday party (which included a raffle, tombola, pro-choice merch being sold and games- ‘disco bingo’, ‘modern jukebox’ and face-painting!), ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon, Great North Run in 2018 and ran the London Marathon in 2019.
Loved all of it (apart from miles 20-23 of the marathon!!!) Got a TONNE of support from Abortion Support Network including motivational cards, fundraising and prize ideas, phone calls from the fundraising team, shout-outs on social media, a post-half marathon massage – and more!
